West Bank Medical Centre

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak we unfortunately have had to close West Bank Medical Centre on a temporary basis to our patients. Patients can still contact the practice on 0151 424 3986.

The site is now being temporarily used as a Face to Face Assessment site for all patients in Widnes.

Online Appointment Booking

The surgery has been advised from NHS England to suspend all online bookings until further notice as a means of mitigating Coronavirus.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Prescription Requests

Please allow 5 working days from the day you request your prescription at the surgery to the day you collect from your pharmacy due to the increase in volume of requests at this time.

If you do not have a nominated pharmacy for electronic prescriptions we strongly advise you to contact us with the pharmacy of your choice in order for us to electronically send your prescription to the pharmacy to mitigate any risks.

We will not be issuing any prescriptions earlier than the 7 days allowed and we cannot issue extra just due to the coronavirus.
