Patients on long-term medication can use the right hand side of their prescription to re-order. There are a number of options:

Please note the practice does not accept requests over the telephone or fax.

Please be aware...
Incomplete prescription requests will not be processed.
Any prescription requests received more than 7 days before they are due will not be processed. If there is a justified reason you need your prescription early please put this on the request for the GP to take into consideration.
Prescriptions have a processing time of 48 hours. Please do not chase before this time. The matrix above and on the prescription box in the surgery will help you to see when your prescription is due for collection.
To speed up the collection process, please inform the receptionist if your prescription contains any controlled drugs that need to be signed for.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. This applies even if a patient is followed up at hospital. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs). The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
Medical Exemption Forms/Certificates
A Medical Exemption Form/Certificate entitles you to free NHS prescriptions only.
Medical Exemptions forms are available to collect from both surgeries for patients with certain medical conditions.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE A VALID MEDICAL EXEMPTION CARD WHEN OBTAINING YOUR PRESCRIPTION FROM THE PHARMACY IN ORDER TO AVOID A FINE.
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.

To order medication on-line you must first register and set up passwords. Once you have completed this, your request then needs to be authorised at the practice which can take several days.
BEFORE THE PRACTICE WILL AUTHORISE YOUR ONLINE REQUEST YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE PHOTO ID AT RECEPTION
Only when this request has been authorised by the practice can you order medication on-line.
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
